New Market - Orville Hoss, 64 died at his home two miles southeast of New Market at 8 a.m. Monday. He was born June 10, 1902 near Darlington the son of Frances and Lottie Bowers Hoss. He had been ill for the past four years. Mr. Hoss was married April 21, 1928 to Edith Stark at Indianapolis. He was a member of the New Market Christian Church and the Waveland Masonic Lodge. He had been a farmer for most of his life. Mr. Hoss is survived by his wife, a son Frank of Litlte Cincinnati; a daughter Mary Ann Snell of Elizabethtown, Tenn, a grandson Eric Christopher Hoss and four sisters, Frances Etter of New Market; Byrd Blaser of Crawfordsville; Ruth Bonwell of New Market and Creta Stallings of Cincinnati, Ohio. He wa spreceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Noble Reeves Funeral Home at New Market. Rev. Gene Sanderfor will officiate. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may call after noon Tuesday.
